Taipei 101 - Tiffany's Christmas Tree

So we had to go to Taipei to extend Jevin's passport now that he is considered Canadian with the acquisition of his "Canada Card". And since we were going there, I decided it would be a good time to renew Josie's passport as well so that we wouldn't have to make that same trip again this year. This way, our ARC's will all expire at the same time. Nonetheless, since we were in Taipei and since we finished super fast, I decided Josie could see Taipei 101. We met our friend Mikki and her mom there. Mikki showed us the children's area of the bookstore and Josie was in HEAVEN! So many books - so little time. I tell you... when she learns to read, that girl is going to be a bookworm. So this picture was taken outside of Taipei 101. The store "Tiffany & Co." made the tree this year. Josie was shocked at how big it was and how little she was in the picture.

Christmas is here!

Well, we did it. Yes, it isn't December yet and we put our Christmas tree up. Actually it's worse than that. It was up last weekend... on Friday, November 21st. By Facebook comments, I think i beat Auntie Max... and she was getting a lot of grief for putting hers up so early. Hee hee, oops. I just really wanted it to be Christmas.. and I bought a new tree. It's sooooo much more poofy then the old one. Now if I could only find a way to keep Jevin from ripping the ornaments off the tree...

Scrapbooking Pages

Olivia at Kuku

I was shocked when I went to Kuku to pick up Jevin's photos. Four years earlier Josie and Olivia had photo shoots... Olivia won the KUKU lottery... Her images were all over the office.

Halloween 2008

I bought Josie's Doctor Costume with the birthday money she received from Great Grandma and Grandpa Chevalier. During the summer, the only costumes I could find were at Chapters as dress up clothes. They also had a Pirate set, but I wanted Josie to have a nice "cool" outfit because it is SOOOOO hot in October in Taiwan. As it turned out she even had to take the lab coat off, as she was so hot.
Pumpkin purse from Cheryl.
Pumpkin costume we bought with gift that the Hilderman's gave Jevin.
Drunk Jevin (too much milk) and his "Mummy Loves Me" shirt from Cheryl.

Jevin Stands!! Seriously!

Seriously, right before he turned seven months he began pulling himself up.

The Rewards for out Model = National Recognition

He made it into a magazine!
Oh... and if you look very carefully, you can see Josie at the bottom right of this picture.

Baby Model September and October - KUKU DUCKBILL

Model = 17 years old from Poland

Jevin with mommy... My sleeve made it in the catalogue.
Jevin and Josie... They made a poster and gave it to us. We had it mounted.

Hsiao Hokee!
Blackmail photo... Nice butt Jevin!

Dance Class

We let Josie join a new dance class in September. It's actually associated with a school that cheated me back in 2003. Had I known that before I registered her and promised the class to her, I wouldn't have let her go. But I had so I had to suck it up. They treat her like a princess. She is quite content there. The teacher is much, MUCH more patient then the other class' teacher.

Jevin Crawls

Seriously, are kids supposed to crawl that early? He was in the crawl stance one week before his six month birthday. He was moving back and forth in one spot. Then crawling came just days later.

Trip to Calgary

We spent a few days in Calgary with Karla and Gord. They have a park that is open only to those who live in their subdivision.
Gord and Josie went on the paddle boats.
Jevin with Josie's shades.
Karla, Jevin, Josie and Me.
Josie, Jevin and Gord.

Trip to Saskatchewan

We introduced Jevin to Great Grandma Marsh.
From youngest to oldest... Auntie Max, Auntie Joan, Uncle Schubie, my Mom, Auntie Marion
Dominic and Josie sitting on Dominic's daddy, Mark.
At Auntie Joan's house we celebrated Josie's birthday (again). At Auntie Joan's house, Josie was jealous that everyone was drinking "special juice" out of our "up-cups". She wanted to be the same so we let her drink her juice in an up-cup too. (wine glass... standing up above the table ie up-cup)

More Family

Trip to Campbell River to See Cheryl & Peanut 2

During our visit with Cheryl, Jevin choked while breastfeeding. He stopped breathing and we called 911. He started gasping and we canceled 911. We raced to the hospital and the checked him over. He was and now is fine.
