Ching Cheng had a Sports Day on November 14
th. I took the kids there to see the balloon making competition. We were a little late due to the "Locked Door Incident" the night before... story later.
When we got there so many people wanted to hold
Jevin and so many people wanted to take pictures of Josie. For the most part both were cooperative.

There was one odd thing about
Jevin... He would only let the MALE teachers hold him.
Here is Benny - English teacher.

Math teacher with a child the same age as
Jev.

PE Teacher

Josie was VERY cooperative when the kids offered their left over balloons... :P

And then the marching band arrived.

Overall for what we did see, it was a nice day; though, I do regret not being able to see all the balloon competitors.
So the night before we had the windows open in the house. The wind came through and a door slammed shut. I was on the first floor when this happened. I waited and no one cried so I assumed all was okay. It hadn't woken anyone. So later that evening I went to bed and found that it was our bedroom door that had closed... and the door just happened to be locked. In the eight years that we have lived in that house, we have never been given or needed the keys to the inside doors.
So what could we do at 11:30 at night? Not a heck of a lot.
Jevin was trapped inside. Jason tried getting in with credit cards and tools. Nothing worked. Finally, we called our good friend Henry. He was able to find a locksmith to come to our house and break into our room.
Jevin never even knew he was trapped.
