New Shirts

Last weekend we found the market street in Yuanlin. In one of the shops they had the perfect clothes for our kids.
Josie = Little Miss Naughty
Jevin = Mr. Noisy
Absolutely perfect!!!

Oh, and she is doing a dance pose.

Jevin - School Pictures

The school asked me to send a flash-drive to school and they put Josie's pictures on them. Jevin has only been going to that school since January, so he didn't have as many pictures as Josie did.

They did something to his nap blanket to make him look like he has buns on his head... A little like Princess Leiah, if you ask me.

Toy Hat
So Jevin had been sick that week. I said I would order a cake. The suggested something a little easier on the stomach as they thought he wouldn't eat the cake. I figured he wouldn't eat the cake whether he was sick or healthy. He only likes appo (apples), nanana (bananas) and foooot (fruit).
I asked the school what they thought would be a better food to celebrate his birthday with. They thought that pudding would be best. It's easy on the stomach and all kids love it.
Haha, it was the first time Jevin had had pudding. He hated it.
I just love how they lit the candle on the package of pudding. Classic.

Oh, and have you noticed a recurring them that Jevin always had things on his head?

Josie - School Pictures

Josie's teacher asked me to send a flash-drive to school so she could put pictures on it. She sent home the last years worth of pictures that she had taken.

The top one I assume was taken at Chinese New Year this year. It came at about 9gb... I was shocked. I can only assume it will go into her graduation album. She's just my little china doll.

Above, she is getting ready for a drum performance for the Mother's Day show they had in 2009. Below, she is getting ready for her ballet show for the same Mother's Day activity.

Must be in September 2009 because they always put pommello peels on their heads around Moon Festival.

Christmas time

Field Trip to a farm...
Jevin got to go because Daddy went with him.
Then they had this bottle drinking game to see who could drink their milk fastest. Josie was a winner... and well, Jevin thought there was nothing special about this game so he gave up early.

March 14th - Jevin's Birthday

This year we opted against a birthday party. Instead we just had a family day.
We went to Chili's again...
Just for the birthday song.

And then we jumped over to another department store and let the kids play at the play place...
and they played
and they played
and they played
and they played (Spider-baby below)

March 11th - Marathon Tember Tantrum

This was the 90 minute temper tantrum I talked of...
It sounded like this, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
but what he really meant was....
Above: "WHY DID YOU TAKE YOUR CAMERA OUT? CAMERAS ARE FOR HAPPY ME!!" (hit, push, shove, swat at camera) "PUT THE CAMERA AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY."
Below: "LET ME BACK OUTSIDE! I WANT TO THROW MYSELF ON THE GROUND SO EVERYONE CAN SEE ME! DON'T TAKE MY JACKET OFF! DON'T TAKE ME SHOES OFF!"

Conformity

If mommy says it, it will be questioned; however, once at school, all bets are off. If mommy says it and all the classmates are doing it, well then, it must be the right thing to do...

And the thing to do was, "Sit down." No questions asked! He sat. Why can't he always be that easy?

March 7th - Winsten's Birthday

We met Winsten at Chili's for his birthday.

And we made him go through the embarrassment of the birthday song...
