Chocolate Expo Feb 19

They have a Chocolate Expo at the Taichung Science museum.  While we waited for James and co to arrive, we took a look through.  Jevin was sooooo freaked out over the dinosaurs... It took a lot to get him to pose with this one.

Everything below (except Stanley and Herbie) is made of chocolate. Truly amazing.

And when we were finished looking at chocolate, we filled up with chocolate.

Movie....

So... We wanted to see Yogi Bear... But they only had it in 3D... so we tried another theater and it was the same case there.  I asked what else they had and they said Tangled...
It was great!  Absolutely spectacular.  I quite enjoyed it... Oh, and it was in Chinese... So basically, I am talking about the facial expressions, the gestures and the intonations... I totally got the story.  I am so looking forward to seeing that in English though.

Jevin's School Day Jan 15

Jevin's school had a school day.  The first hour was a dance party with a group of PE instructors doing a bunch of activities.  The music was loud and Jevin was freaked right out.  Josie was totally into it.  We lost her in the crowd.  Jev decided to stick with... I mean to us.
After the dance party, they had a whole slew of activities.  They were given a passport of sorts. The kids went to the different stations, finished the activities and got the stamp.
 Jumping rope....
 Sticking to us...

Hair Cut January 1st

 Getting ready.

 Braiding the hair.

Josie donated her hair to children with cancer through the Changhua Christian Hospital.
She had been having tantrums about putting her hair in a ponytail in the mornings.  We gave her the option to cut it and explained that her hair was long enough that it could be donated.  She agreed with the idea so we continued.
Interestingly enough, if you google "Hair Donation in Taiwan" the first hit is the English webpage for the Christian Hospital.
